Student Evelyn Leos featured by Vivela Magazine

Political science major Evelyn Leos was featured in the April issue of Vivela Magazine. Evelyn was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. when she was eight years old. Her family's journey to gain legal status sparked her interest in law and helping others. Now in her second year at Cerritos College, she studies Political Science with a 3.69 GPA and has received a scholarship from the Southeast District Bar Association. Her future goals include transferring to a university to further her studies and assisting the Latino community in understanding legal systems, motivated by her family's migration experience.
