Dental Hygiene Application Workshops

DEar APPLICANTS:

In order to be in alignment with recommendations and mandates set forth from the CDC, to reduce the rapid transmission rates of the COVID-19 virus, the dental hygiene department will need to implement some changes to our application cycle and process.

In order to safeguard counseling faculty and staff and to prevent gatherings and in-person interactions, the counseling staff are cancelling application workshops. Counseling will be merging onto online, distant counseling sessions. Please contact the counseling department to meet either through virtual counseling, online counseling or a telephone appointment.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this unprecedented time. Please watch our website for further information and the adjusted notification of admission status. A new date will be established.

The Dental Hygiene department’s 2020-2021 application cycle will be suspended, effective immediately. The application process will be reopened May 8, 2020 and the new deadline is June 4, 2020 at 4:00pm.

Dental Hygiene Virtual application workshops

It is highly recommended, but not required, that Dental Hygiene applicants attend a workshop to learn how to complete the application.  The workshops will be conducted on Zoom.  After signing up for a workshop an email will be sent to the email on file that was selected as preferred.  A second email will go out 24-48 hours before the workshop with the meeting information and Zoom link.
