Froylán Cabuto
¡Bienvenidos!
Welcome to My Faculty Page
I am Professor Froylán Cabuto, and I am passionate about teaching, storytelling, and cultural exploration. Whether you are here as a student, a fellow educator, or someone curious about language and the arts, this space serves as a resource for my courses, projects, and academic work.
As an educator, my goal is to make language learning an immersive and meaningful experience that goes beyond grammar and vocabulary to explore the cultural, historical, and artistic forces that shape the Spanish-speaking world. Whether you are taking elementary Spanish or exploring the works of Frida Kahlo and the Mexican muralists, you will find that my classes challenge you to think critically, engage with authentic materials, and develop a deeper appreciation for the voices and histories that define Hispanic and Latin American cultures.
Beyond the classroom, my work extends into creative productions, writing, and theater, where I use storytelling as a tool for cultural expression and historical reflection. Through my projects, such as I Am Frida Kahlo, I aim to connect history, art, and language in ways that inspire and resonate with diverse audiences.
This website is here to help you navigate my courses, find important resources, and stay updated on upcoming projects and events. If you are in one of my classes, I encourage you to embrace curiosity, think independently, and contribute to the conversation. Learning is most powerful when we engage with it fully.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you. ¡Nos vemos en clase!
