Business Instructor Katherine Garcia featured by Voyage LA

Adjunct Business Administration Instructor Katherine Garcia was featured in Voyage LA, an online magazine that highlights local small businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and creatives in Los Angeles. The proud Falcon alum shares her journey: a former ASCC Student Senator, Environmental Club President, and Faculty Senate Liaison at Cerritos College, she later earned her Bachelor's in Cultural Anthropology and an MBA. Club Rush brings in campus spirit with food and fun

Student Activities kicked off the semester with Club Rush on September 1, where new and returning students were able to check out various on-campus clubs. From academic pursuits to unique hobbies, there was something for everyone. Students had the chance to explore a variety of clubs and, by collecting three signatures from their favorites, scored a tasty free taco lunch. The day was filled with exploration, great food, and community spirit.

Joseph Carrillo named Employee of the Month for August 2026

The Board of Trustees honored Joseph Carrillo, Maintenance Mechanic from Facilities, as Outstanding Classified/Confidential  Employee of the Month for August 2026.  Joseph has worked in the Facilities Department for the past seven years and has consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong willingness to help wherever needed.
