Free income tax assistance event on March 23

WHAT: The Cerritos College Accounting Department and Accounting Club will offer free income tax assistance on March 23. Sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) provides free tax help to people with an income of $64,000 or less who need assistance in preparing their tax returns. 

IRS-certified volunteers will provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Download the flyer for documents to bring.
