Cerritos College celebrates 70 years: Join the festivities on September 19

Free community event features car show, DJ, kids zone, giveaways, and more

70 1955-2025 Cerritos CollegeWHAT: Cerritos College will mark its 70th anniversary with a free, family-friendly celebration on Friday, September 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. The event, titled Rev’d Up Since ’55, will feature a car show, live DJ, children’s activities, and more.

Attendees can enjoy:

  • A showcase of hot rods, exotics, lowriders, trucks, muscle cars, and classics
  • Music from a live DJ
  • Arts and crafts and family fun in the Kids Zone
  • An open house at the college’s award-winning Automotive Technology program
  • Giveaways and campus booths
  • A selection of food trucks with items available for purchase

The celebration will take place on the Cerritos College campus and offers the community an opportunity to experience the college in a new way while commemorating 70 years of student success and regional impact.

Car enthusiasts are encouraged to register their vehicles for the car show at www.cerritos.edu/carshow
