Health Occupation Requirements
Nursing Program
Students participating in the Cerritos College Nursing Program must fulfill the following health requirements:
Required each year:
- Physical exam
- Please complete and bring in Nursing Physical Exam Form
- Proof of negative TB skin test (or normal chest x-ray within past 4 years)
- CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
Upon entrance to program the following must be up to date:
- (2) negative TB tests (within an annual year) OR negative Chest Xray - TB Test
must be repeated annually
Flu (Influenza) Vaccine - must be repeated annually - TDap - every 10 years
- MMR (Rubeola, Rubella, Mumps) with Blood Titer showing (+) immunity
- Hepatitis B with Blood Titer showing (+) immunity
- Varicella with Blood Titers showing (+) immunity
- *If the titers are "negative" or "equivocal", the student will be required to repeat the immunization series.
- All students are required to complete a Urine Drug Screen every six months.
- Effective Fall 2021 - All clinical sites are requiring faculty and students to submit proof of FULL Covid Vaccination.
- The program will now need to comply with this regulation.

Only exam and labs pertaining to program will be done. No walk-in appointments are available.
Fall Hours:
- Monday thru Thursday 8:00am to 3:00pm
- Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm
