National Student Transfer Week

Workshop series 

Monday- October 17th

USC Admissions Presentation - 1:00pm- 2:00pm- room SS 139 (In-Person)

Find out what you need to do to be competitive for transfer to USC.  This workshop, presented by a USC representative, will focus on the admissions requirements, general education and major preparation, articulation agreements (so you know which classes transfer from Cerritos College to USC), and the application process.

An introduction to understanding the minimum university requirements for CSU/UC/Private/Out-of-State universities. Get a head start in keeping yourself competitive and considering other options for Transfer.

UC Santa Cruz Admissions Presentation - 10:00-11:00am - SS 315 (In-Person)

This workshop will overview the admissions requirements for CSULB, CSULA, and CSUF. We will discuss meeting minimum requirements and how to be more competitive.

Attend this workshop and learn about the process on how to navigate the Cal State Apply application for the California State University (CSU system.  Learn about the requirements of a CSU and the breakdown on information regarding each section of the application. 

Transfer Ally Training - (for Staff/Faculty/Administrators) - 9:00-1:00pm (In-Person)

Become a Transfer Ally! Learn about transfer basics, resources available on and off campus to support students,  and how to bring the transfer conversation into your classes and everyday interactions.  Register through Cornerstone.
