Cerritos College joined the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program’s Unlocking Opportunity network, a nationwide initiative that brings leading community colleges together to strengthen programs, boost completion rates, and expand pathways to high-value jobs and bachelor’s degree attainment. The Aspen Institute, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to advancing practices and policies that increase economic mobility, launched the Unlocking Opportunity network to ensure more students graduate with the knowledge and skills that lead to lasting success... La Vuelta (The Return) The 8th SUR: biennial opening reception tonight

Dr. Fierro serves up tacos to welcome students to fall semester

President Dr. Jose Fierro and the Vice Presidents fired up the grill once again in the scorching heat to welcome students to the fall semester on August 19. Board Vice President Dr. Dawn Green also joined them to connect with the students. Attendees enjoyed carne asada tacos while engaging with campus leadership and meeting fellow students.
