Hi! My name is Daissy Zendejas and I am excited to be back in the classroom after taking some time off to be a stay at home mom. I have been a teacher for 10 years. I hold an Associate Degree in Child Development and an Associate Degree in Liberal Studies. I also hold a Master Teacher Permit from the State of California. I am in the process of returning to Cal State Dominguez Hills University to complete my Bachelor Degree in Liberal Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.

I am a mother of four amazing children! Each one of them very different from the other. We love spending time in the great outdoors. We try to go camping at least once a year with our whole family. We love cooking, dancing and learning new things. Exploring, hypothesizing about the world, taking risks, building relationships, and seeing children grow into positive and confident human beings is why I love being a teacher.
