I was born and raised in a town with the beautiful name of Arkhangelsk situated in the north-west part of Russia. There I found my passion for education as I attended The Pomor State University and graduated with the Bachelor’s degree in Education of Foreign Languages. I moved to the US in the year of 2000 and as I was adapting to a new way of life I started to work as a preschool teacher, which eventually became my calling.
I have been privileged to become a part of Cerritos College CDC team and work side by side with the most outstanding educators for over five years. The Reggio Emilia approach that is in the core of our program deeply resonates with my personal educational philosophy and inspires me in my daily practice.
I consider myself being an outdoor person. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, swimming and visiting new places with my family. When I have free time, I knit sweaters and scarves for my loved ones.
