Meet New Vice Presidents Dr. Mercedes Gutierrez and Dr. Wei Zhou

The College welcomed two new vice presidents recently. Dr. Wei Zhou joined us in May as Interim Dean of Academic Affairs and Strategic Initiatives and now serves as Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs. BE-STELLAR Celebrates Its 2022 Cohort's Accomplishments

The College celebrated 14 students who completed a paid internship at the Columbia Memorial Space Center as part of the BE-STELLAR program.  The interns worked weekly at the Space Center in the spring and summer of 2022 and also worked with faculty mentors from the SEM division. The project began in 2020 with the National Science Foundation grants to prepare underserved college students to become STEM educators. The third and final cohort of 20 students will join as new interns in the fall. 

Performing Arts Center to Open on July 14; New Cultural Hub for the Region

Parking Permits Required Fall 2022

Parking permits are required for all vehicles, including motorcycles beginning August 15. Both daily and semester permits are available ONLY online. Permits are not available in Admissions or Campus Police. Vehicles with a disabled placard are allowed to park in any marked disabled parking space, but still require a parking permit.
