Cervantes as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of
the Month Award for October 2022.
Joseph began his employment with the district in the Human Resource Department on October 11, 2022. He consistently delivers quality service. When working with people, Joseph always tries to meet the individual where they are. Whether they are newly hired employees who are not familiar with the campus or when collaborating with colleagues on various projects, he approaches every situation in a calm, confident manner. Joseph always carries a spirit of genuinely wanting to help and make a positive contribution to someone else's experience.
He is also an excellent collaborator. For example, Joseph has been instrumental in improving HR's onboarding process. His knowledge and technical skills give the team an edge, giving way for faster turnarounds and better onboarding experiences. He is a flexible team player when new processes are introduced. At the same time, he offers insight and constructive feedback when he sees opportunities for efficiency, and growth, that will make the experience better for those we serve. Any team that has Joseph in their corner has a true advantage and will have a better chance at reaching their goals
