Retiree Gilbert Rodriguez Recognized
Gilbert Rodriguez was a long-serving employee in the Information Technology department,
starting as a student worker in 1979 and was hired full-time in 1981. Over the course
of his 43-year career, he was promoted multiple times and served as our Information
Security Analyst at the time of his retirement.
He is being recognized for his contributions to the College through projects such as maintaining the campus's PeopleSoft security and was named classified Employee of the Month in 2019 for helping the Financial Aid department digitalize their records. He also taught as an adjunct instructor in both the CIS and Business departments.
Gilbert, we thank you for your dedication and dedicated service over the years. We wish you all the best in your retirement.
