Outgoing Student Trustee Jacki Stone Scott honored
The Cerritos College Board of Trustees presented outgoing student trustee Jacki Stone
Scott with a certificate honoring her outstanding service to the board and on behalf
of students on June 12.
In addition to balancing her duties as a student, Jacki has served as Student Trustee for the past year with confidence and discipline. She has championed the role of student trustee on campus and beyond, especially with her advocacy effort for student housing in Sacramento. The college is grateful for her active role in leading the campus and in representing the students of Cerritos College.
"Thank you, Jacki, for all the genuine effort that you have put into being a member of the Board of Trustees," said Dr. Jose Fierro as he presented Jacki with the certificate. “You have provided us with a valuable perspective on how we need to implement changes to meet the needs of our students."
