The Cerritos College Foundation presents new Automotive Technology Technician Excellence Award
The Cerritos College Foundation presented the newly established Automotive Technology Technician Excellence Award to Eric Lopez on June 11. Eric, currently participating in an apprenticeship at Simpson Cadillac Buick GMC, is a dedicated and successful student who balances his work and military training as a reserve Marine while still excelling in class... Alumna helps create endowment to support single parents pursuing nursing
The Cerritos College Foundation announced that alumna Sharon Reichle created an endowment to fund scholarships for single-parent students in the nursing program. Sharon committed $125,000 to be paid over the next five years and $25,000 yearly thereafter until her passing. She has also included the Cerritos College Foundation in her estate plan... The Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association donates $5K to support auto program
The Cerritos College Foundation received a $5,000 donation from the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association (GLANCDA) to support the college’s Automotive Technology Program. Unidos US Education Summit showcases campus
Cerritos College hosted the UnidosUS Education Summit from June 26-28. The event, which was attended by 600 educators, students, and families, focused on addressing critical issues impacting Latino student success. The entire campus was used to hold various presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and breakout sessions, effectively showcasing the college to attendees from across the nation.
