Chris Richardson to lead U20 Team USA Track and Field
The Director of track and field and cross country, Chris Richardson, has been appointed
as the men's head coach for Team USA Track and Field at the World Athletics U20 Championships.
Chris will play a crucial part in leading combined events in this role. He brings
a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Team USATF staff, serving as the Thorpe
Cup head coach, JR. Pan American jumps coach, U23 NACAC throws coach, and various
other appointments. Chris is also a two-time NCAA Division I All-American and a 2005
NACAC gold medalist.
“The opportunity to serve Team USA and lead the U20 World Juniors as the men’s head coach is a tremendous honor. I look forward to mentoring and contributing to the positive experience of the next generation of great American track and field athletes and their journey to Gold,” said Chris.
