Welcome day

Nearly 1,500 students join Welcome Day

The campus welcomed students to the fall 2024 semester at Welcome Day on Friday, August 16. Dr. Jose Fierro welcomed students and families, engaging them in a lively raffle and trivia game. Students participated in workshops about application, course selection, and enrollment. Additionally, students had the opportunity to meet with over 80 departments, programs, and clubs and enjoy games at the booth fair. Student ambassadors guided them on campus tours and helped locate their classes. Students also took part in the second annual P.R.I.D.E. parade. View the photo booth pictures (password: 08162024) View more Welcome Day pictures in the photo gallery.

Ask me table staffers

Ask Me Tables and volunteers welcome students to the new semester

The student affairs division organized "Ask Me Tables" across the campus during the first three days of school to welcome and help students with directions and questions. We are grateful to the nearly 100 campus volunteers, including some alums, who returned to campus to assist students and contribute to a smooth start to the school year for our new and returning students. Way to show the Falcon spirit!
