Sherly Widjaja named Employee of the Month of August 2024
The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Sherly
Widjaja, Budget Technician, Fiscal Services Department, as the recipient of the Outstanding
Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month Award for August 2024.
Sherly began her career with Cerritos College in 2021 as a budget technician with the fiscal services department.
She consistently goes above and beyond her role as a budget technician to assist others with budget and account string questions. The wonderful thing about Sherly is that she excels in her demanding work and takes the time she doesn't necessarily have to assist and educate others.
Specifically, Sherly has been instrumental in helping many employees on campus understand their budgets by patiently explaining the process and demonstrating how it works. Sherly's dedication, kindness, and willingness to help make her an absolute delight to work with and an asset to Cerritos College. Sherly embodies the qualities of an outstanding employee and team player.
