Marukan Cup Culinary Competition featured by Press-Telegram

Cerritos College's Marukan Cup of Culinary Excellence made a splash in the Press-Telegram on January 9, both in print and online. For eight years, the college's culinary arts program has showcased this spectacular competition in partnership with Marukan Vinegar (USA) Inc. This year, 16 outstanding culinary students wowed the audience with their original entrées, each inspired by a vibrant array of global cuisines. With over 200 spectators and industry judges on hand, each dish was meticulously evaluated based on the same high standards that await them in the professional kitchen. College hosts exciting NASA on Campus event, empowering students in aerospace careers

Cerritos College hosted its sixth NASA on Campus event from January 7-10 as part of the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) program. This year marked a thrilling milestone, as all 40 participating students hailed from Cerritos College and immersed themselves in the extraordinary opportunities offered by the NCAS program. This dynamic program kicked off with a five-week online adventure (Mission 1), followed by an engaging educational simulation (Mission 2) that culminated in an action-packed four-day event (Mission 3) at the DoubleTree in Norwalk. The School Relations Office will host the 19th Annual High School Counselor Conference on Friday, January 30, in the Student Center.
