Robotics teams excel at CSUN Tournament, earn spot at VEXU World Championship
Cerritos College Robotics Teams recently achieved great success at the CSUN Tournament in February, with the lead team earning second place in the Skills Contest and the Innovate Award, qualifying for the VEXU World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri, set for April 25–27. The teams are now focused on optimizing their robots ahead of the upcoming elite competition in St. Louis. Women executives in finance share insights at Women's History Month Luncheon
The Women’s History Month luncheon on March 25 started with Dr. Narges Rakin, dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, thanking the Women's History Month Committee for organizing the month's events and highlighting the importance of recognizing women's contributions. Cerritos College-Warren High dual enrollment partnership earns state recognition
The dual enrollment program offered by Cerritos College to Warren High School students has been selected for the California Exemplary Dual Enrollment Award. This recognition highlights schools that are pioneering access to college coursework and achieving outstanding student outcomes. With access to 29 UC- and CSU-transferable courses, Warren High School empowers students to complete courses they would typically pay for after graduation. By taking advantage of this opportunity, families can save thousands in future tuition, while students gain a significant head start as they embark on their college journeys.
