On June 13, Cerritos College came alive for its second annual Car Show. A lively DJ spun upbeat tracks, igniting energy as car enthusiasts filled the grounds. Gleaming vehicles of all kinds showcased the essence of Southern California's car culture. People shared stories while savoring delicious bites from food trucks, laughter mingling with the revving of engines. Under the warm sun, the event created an unforgettable atmosphere of community and joy.

Transfer bootcamp workshop

Transfer Bootcamp helps students navigate the path to a four-year university

The Transfer Center hosted a Transfer Bootcamp from June 8 to June 11. Each day, Transfer Center counselors Brittany Lundeen and Marvelina Graf provided an overview of CSU and UC admissions processes, application procedures, application essays, and scholarship applications. The workshops served as a valuable resource for students planning to transfer to a four-year university, offering a concise overview of the transfer process, access to Transfer Center counselors, and opportunities to connect with fellow students.

Women’s wrestling claims victory on the mat and in the classroom

The Falcon Women’s Wrestling team excelled both on the mat and in the classroom. The team was named the 2026 3C2A Women's Team Scholar All-America Award winner, achieving an impressive team GPA of 3.51. This accomplishment highlights the program's strong commitment to academic and athletic excellence. "Cerritos College continues to set the standard for excellence on the mat and in the classroom," said the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Executive Director Mike Moyer.
