Non-Instructional Program Review Committees
The Program Review Committee plays a critical role in assessing and supporting the effectiveness and improvement of programs and departments. The Program Review Committee is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness, alignment with institutional goals, and efficient use of resources by programs and departments. The committee supports continuous improvement by reviewing goals, outcomes, recommending changes, and guiding programs in setting goals that contribute to the college’s mission and Student First Framework.
Composition
The program review committee is composed of three members. Two members must be individuals from outside of the department or program under review and one member must be from outside the department or program area. Committee members may be managers, classified staff, or confidential staff.
One committee member will be designated the committee liaison. The liaison serves as the primary point of communication between the Program Review Committee, the department or program under review, and IERPG. They facilitate timely completion of the review process.
