Jorge Cueva named Employee of the Month of June 2026
The Board of Trustees honored Jorge Cueva, HVAC Energy Specialist from Facilities,
as Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month for June 2026.
Jorge Cueva began his career with the Cerritos College Facilities Department in 2015.
As an HVAC Energy Specialist, Jorge consistently goes above and beyond to address maintenance needs promptly and effectively. His technical expertise, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong work ethic ensure that heating and cooling systems function properly and that issues are resolved efficiently. He takes pride in his work and approaches every request with professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to customer service.
Jorge’s contributions extend across the entire campus. He is highly respected by colleagues for his responsiveness, willingness to assist others, and ability to share his knowledge and expertise. He understands that the condition of our facilities can directly affect the learning and working environment, and he consistently demonstrates that students and employees come first.
