Taiwan study abroad program at Providence University now accepting applications for Summer 2024

WHAT: Applications for Cerritos College’s summer 2024 study abroad program at Providence University in Taiwan are now available. Open to all college students, the program features summer classes at the university, cultural experience tours, and activities for three weeks. 
 
The college also offers modern Mandarin language classes through its Community Education department. The online classes help students better understand the Chinese language and culture. The classes are open to all, including students interested in the study abroad program to learn basic Mandarin prior to participation. 
 
WHEN/WHERE:  
Providence University (study abroad in Taiwan) 
June 24, 2024 – July 13, 2024
 
Online Modern Mandarin classes (Cerritos College Community Education) 
Level 1: January 23, 2024 – March 5, 2024

Both level 1 and 2 classes meet on Tuesdays, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. online. 
 
COST: 
Providence: Total estimated cost is approximately $1,700 
Modern Mandarin classes: Registration fee is $30
