Free income tax assistance event on March 13

WHAT: The Cerritos College Accounting Department and Accounting Club will offer free income tax assistance on March 13. Sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides free tax help to individuals who earn $67,000 or less and need assistance preparing their returns.
IRS-certified volunteers will provide free basic income tax return preparation, including electronic filing, to qualified individuals. Please make an appointment; walk-ins are subject to availability. Download the flyer for a list of required documents.
