Student Activities' La Feria Latina brings joy and community
Student Activities' La Feria Latina kicked off Latinx Heritage Month in style with delicious free tacos from the beloved Taco Nazo food truck and live music on October 1. It was a fun-filled day as campus departments and offices shared information, hosted activities, and gave away awesome prizes. Students had a blast playing games and diving into flag trivia as they celebrated our vibrant heritage together.
Latinas In Business Panel and Showcase on October 15
In celebration of Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month, join the Latinas in Business panel and showcase, which will highlight the expertise and experiences of local Latina business owners. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to and ask questions of a panel of self-starting Latina entrepreneurs. Additionally, participants will have the chance to meet the panelists and view the outstanding work these businesses offer. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 15, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in LC 155. This event is co-sponsored by the Chicano Studies Department and the Business Administration Department at Cerritos College.
Student Convocation on October 15
Inviting all students to join us for the 2025 Student Convocation on Wednesday, October 15, at the Teleconference Center, starting at 3 p.m! The event provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn how Cerritos College offers them the best return on investment.
