My name is Debra A Gonzalez. I am the Atelierista here at the Cerritos Child Development Center. I have a degree in Early Child Development and I have spent most of my teaching years as an Art Studio Teacher. I have 28 + years teaching in this field with coursework in art education through seminars, workshops and course studies. I have extensive knowledge of multiple art concepts, art skills, and various art tools that I use to inspire and educate the children here at the Center. As the Atelierista, I introduce the children to influential artists through a variety of mediums and techniques to enhance the children’s work. I have helped and planned “Round House Table” workshops here at our Center along with the program specialist. I have done some consulting to help set up art programs in a private setting and some in home care settings.

I have a deep passion and enjoy art fairs, museums and art galleries. I am committed to developing the best art experience imaginable and to make art fun and enjoyable for ALL children.
