Chloe Jihyun Wins Learning and Career Pathways Student Icon Design Contest

Chloe JihyunThe Cerritos College Guided Pathways Program is pleased to announce Chloe Jihyun Lee as the winner of the 2021 Learning and Career Pathways Student Icon Design Contest.  

In addition to receiving a $500 prize, Chloe’s original artwork will be showcased as new Learning and Career Pathways icons. Chloe is a graphic designer with over two years of graphic design industry experience. During this time, she has been a part of design and online marketing projects for a few companies, including THML CLOTHING and STUDIO 2000. Chloe enjoys making things look good with simple designs. She is currently working hard to become a professional graphic designer with unique illustration for all platforms. Her work adds a fun, unique flair to brand marketing that creates trust and loyalty.  

Chloe's winning icon designLearning and Career Pathways are broad clusters of majors that are grouped together based on similarities across educational and career interests, designed to help students narrow down their interests early in their college careers and choose a major.

The runner-up is Yumi Jung Gerard, an international student from South Korea. She is in her second year and is working on completing an associate degree in graphic design. Her dream job is to become a character or costume concept artist at a video game company.

Joshua Lozano placed third. Joshua is a Mexican digital designer based in California. After graduating from high school, he knew he wanted to follow a path into digital art. He started at Cerrito College through the Adult Education English language program.
