Cerritos College will host both virtual and drive-thru commencement ceremonies for
its graduating Class of 2021. The virtual event will begin on Thursday, May 27, and

Former Falcon Football Player Rhamondre Stevenson Drafted by New England Patriots
Former Falcon football player Rhamondre Stevenson was selected by New England Patriots. While with the Falcons as a sophomore, Rhamondre broke the school record for most rushing yards in a season (2,111) in 2018, and led the nation in rushing. Chloe Jihyun Wins Learning and Career Pathways Student Icon Design Contest
The Cerritos College Guided Pathways Program is pleased to announce Chloe Jihyun Lee as the winner of the 2021 Learning and Career Pathways Student Icon Design Contest. In addition to receiving a $500 prize, Chloe’s original artwork will be showcased as new Learning and Career Pathways icons. Meet Alumnus Gabriel Gellagos
Gabriel Gallegos enrolled in the Engineering Design Technology classes at Cerritos College in 2014 after finishing his contract with the U.S Army. He earned two A.A degrees which helped him obtain employment, first as a draftsman and then as a composite technician. In 2017 he began coursework at CSULA for a B.S. in Industrial Technology. In fall of 2019 during his final semester at CSULA, he attended “The Great Minds in STEM Conference” in Orlando, Florida, where he received six on-the-spot job offers thanks to the education and knowledge he acquired at Cerritos College. Today, Gabriel is an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation in Palmdale, where he is part of the F-35 fighter program.
