Luz Ocampo named Employee of the Month of May 2023
The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Luz Ocampo
as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month
Award for May 2023.
Luz Ocampo began her career at Cerritos College in 1985 as a bookstore employee. She joined the Facilities team in 1998. This is the third time Luz has been honored with the Employee of the Month Award.
Those who are fortunate enough to come in contact with Luz will always receive great care through her service excellence. Whenever an employee reaches out to Luz, she always answers with a positive attitude and energy. She never says no; she moves immediately and quickly to resolve any and all issues presented to her on the spur of the moment and always comes through with a solution. She is an instrumental part of the facilities department and a significant part of what keeps the campus moving and flowing successfully on a daily basis.
Luz, your dedication, commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the students and staff are exceptional. We are proud that you are a Cerritos College employee, and we commend you for your outstanding service and dedication. Thank you for a job well done!
