Outstanding Professor/Counselor/Librarian Nomination Form

Who Is Eligible to Win an Outstanding Faculty Award?
All certificated teaching and non-teaching faculty at Cerritos College. This includes all full-time and part-time professors, counselors, librarians, and faculty in student services (Student Activities, Student Accessibility Services, and Career Center).

What Are the Criteria?

  1. Outstanding dedication to teaching, coaching, and/or guiding students.
  2. Other criteria may include:
    • Publications and/or grant writing
    • Club and student activities involvement
    • Contributions to the college through committees, special projects, volunteerism, etc.
    • Service to the community as a representative of the college
    • Art exhibitions, concerts, public performances, etc.
    • Finalists should have multiple student nominations

(NOTICE: Self-nomination in any form may result in disqualification.)

Who May Nominate?
All current Cerritos College students and employees.

 

Nomination form will be available in the fall of 2026

 

The deadline to submit nominations for 2024-2025 Outstanding Faculty Awards is Sunday, November 30, 2024.
