In the open, natural light can transform figures, shapes and life in seconds. My work
uses analog and digital photography to convey my desire to render these moments and
communicate contemporary themes through the places I explore. Enfermo is a series
of landscapes invoking the desolate imagery of Mars and wildfire skies.
While working as a digital artist in Los Angeles, Chris Wilson completed his MFA in
film production at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 1996. At the end
of 1996, he became a full time professor at the Catholic University of Portugal where
he helped implement Portugal's first graduate and undergraduate digital media programs.
Since 2000, he has been a full time professor of digital arts at Cerritos College
in Norwalk, California.
Chris Wilson began teaching at Cerritos College in 2000, including ART192 (Photoshop/Digital Imaging), ART193 (Motion Picture Editing), ART194A (Advanced Final Cut Pro), ART191A (3D Computer Animation), and ART191B (Computer Animation Project).
