There Ought to be a Law Contest

Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia (#58) sponsors “There Ought to Be a Law’ contest. The deadline is January 20.

Entries can cover a wide range of issues that can be addressed by legislation with the intent of improving government and the quality of life for residents throughout California. The contest is open to all. Assemblywoman Garcia will choose at least one winner who will accompany her to Sacramento, CA to testify before an Assembly committee and join her for lunch.

Submissions will be accepted by mail, e-mail, or fax. Applications can be submitted online, faxed to 562-861-5158 or mailed to: Office of Assembly Member Garcia, 8255 Firestone Blvd. Suite 203, Downey, CA 90241. The deadline is January 20.
