Technology Professor’s Book Tackles Genetic Sampling; Molecular Biology
Technology Instructor Dr. Miodrag Micic’s new book titled Sample Preparation Technique for Soil, Plant and Animal Samples tackles genetic sampling, specifically protein and DNA. The book targets graduate
students, postdoctoral researchers and biotechnology professionals. Associate Professor
of Mathematics Angie Conley is a co-author of the chapter on biostatistics, and Cerritos
College graduate Daphne Real, who now studies biology at the University of California,
San Diego, is an author of the review chapter on physical chemistry properties of
nucleic acids.
