Join the Food Drive Contest and Help Students Stay Healthy
The Student Health Center officially launched its Food Drive Contest to help replenish its Food Bank. The program was established in 2013 in response to students who needed a meal.
The contest periods are April 11 and May 6. The winning team during both periods will receive a pizza party and a special trophy.
To enter the contest, email Carrie Edwards with the name of your group, division, department, or club. All non-perishable, unexpired food items are accepted. See the flyer for more information and for the list of high demand items.
The Food Drive is part of the Cerritos College Food Project, a campus-wide effort to learn about food in all its aspects across the academic disciplines. Visit www.cerritos.edu/foodproject for more information about the Food Project.
