Foster Care Awareness Events Coming in May
The Leaders Involved in Creating Change (LINC) program will host a series of events
in conjunction with the Foster Care Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness
about foster care issues and motivate people to help foster care and foster children
succeed. During the month of May, there will be a display of foster care facts and
student art in the glass case by the President's Office.
Foster Care Awareness Month Kick-off
Stop by and pick up your ribbon of support and view the students’ artwork on display.
Tuesday, May 3, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Administration Building Quad
Foster Youth: Supporting Educational Success Training
Learn about the foster care system, educational barriers foster youth face, how one
can support foster youth in the classroom and beyond, and services the LINC program
offers to current and former foster youth students. Flex credit is available. To apply,
