Born to be Wild
Do these wild riders look familiar?
Take a look at seven Falcons who roll to their own beat. These bikers, made up of faculty and staff, keep life a little more interesting as they roar on their shiny motorcycles.
Carlos Arce, assistant professor, Spanish, has been riding since he was 12. He rides
a Harley Davidson Limited Low.
Shawna Baskette, dean of academic success, was the only women in the group. She has
been riding her motorcycle for five years and currently rides a 2014 Triumph Street
Triple.
For 24 years Erik Duane, senior technical support specialist and military veteran,
has been street riding motorcycles. Today, he owns a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-R bike.
David Fabish, dean of liberal arts, rides a BMW S1000RR. He’s been rolling for three
years.
Mark Hugen, assistant professor, mathematics, has been riding for 11 years, and rolls
a 2009 Harley Davidson Road King.
While Al Mejia, senior applications analyst, has been riding motorcycles for many
years, he took a break, but recently purchased a new 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit and
started biking again two weeks ago.
Vince Orton, senior applications analyst, has been riding for eight years his commute
partner 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 250.
