Retiree Rich Cameron Recognized
The Cerritos College Board of Trustees recognized retiree Rich Cameron for his many
years of service to the College at the May 3 board meeting.
Rich Cameron spent 20 years at Cerritos College which constitutes half of his forty years as a professor in the California Community College system. During his tenure at Cerritos, Rich has advised on 419 issues of Talon Marks. He served as department chair throughout his tenure at Cerritos and served as curriculum chair for seven years. He was also a member of the Instructional Technology Committee, Student Learning Outcomes Committee, Enrollment Management Committee, Planning and Budget Committee, and co-chaired the Department Chair Council. And, at the statewide level, he helped create the model transfer degree in journalism.
Rich’s expertise on curriculum matters is without peer and his advice regarding department chair leadership is state of the art.
