WPA serves as a major and unique vehicle for students to enhance their educational experience and learn about professional careers as psychologists.

“The conference was an awe inspiring experience,” said student Deb Bragg.   “We were all exposed to different disciplines within psychology and learned of the depth of knowledge available to those who choose to pursue a career in psychology.” She hopes to continue on to a Ph.D. in social psychology.

Reena Rana echoed. “The WPA was an amazing opportunity to network with professors and peers as well as learn about traditional and alternative career paths in psychology. I am truly grateful for this experience; it was very informative and eye-opening.”

Reena also plans to pursue graduate school and find an avenue to apply psychology to solve real world problems.
