Fall Job Fair Attracts 300 Attendees
The Career Services/Student Employment Resource Center hosted its annual Fall Job
Fair on November 2. More than 40 employers, including local businesses, government
agencies, and Fortune 500 companies participated. Recruiters from each organization
provided information on job and internship opportunities to nearly 300 attendees during
the event.
Employers represented this year included Enterprise Rent-A-Car, FedEx, Jiffy Lube, Mexican American Opportunity Foundation, Metropolitan State Hospital, the United States Marine Corps, and Volt Workforce Solutions, among others.
A wide variety of job options such as clerical, government, hospitality, healthcare, law enforcement, retail, and sales were available for attendees to explore.
