Cerritos College Student Veterans Honored with Scholarships
Eleven Cerritos College student veterans were recently presented with received a scholarships
at the Norwalk Community Coordinating Council’s Veteran’s Scholarship Dinner. Therese
Lopez received a $500 scholarship from Soroptimist International of Norwalk, and Edward
Angeles, Richard Burrell, Danielle Harris, Victor Lopez, Diego Melendez, Christian
Palma, Henry Rogel, Enrique Rueda, Elizabeth Sanchez, and Scott Sloyvan received $500
each from the Norwalk Community Coordinating Council. The award recognized their contribution
in service as well as and their commitment to education.
