Board of Trustees Elects New Officers
The Cerritos College Board of Trustees held its annual organizational meeting on December
6. The Board appointed new officers for 2018, re-electing Trustee Zurich Lewis to
serve as Board president. Dr. Shin Liu was elected as vice president and Martha Camacho-Rodriguez
will serve as Board Clerk. Certificates of Appreciation were given to outgoing Vice
President Carmen Avalos, Clerk Dr. Shin Liu and President Zurich Lewis for their year
of service as board officers.
"I am truly honored to have the full faith and confidence of my colleagues to lead this board for another year,” said Lewis. “I will continue to work to create unity on our board so our college may best serve the communities we represent."
