Sarah Pirtle Named Employee of the Month of March 2022
The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Sarah Pirtle
as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month
Award for March 2022.
The Office of Diversity, Compliance, and Title IX (DCTIX) would not have been able to keep the college in compliance with the constant changes without the help of Sarah Pirtle. Sarah has been an important partner to the DCITX office by helping ensure that the Cerritos College community is aware of the Title IX changes and has ensured the campus is in compliance with a recent law change. Sarah has worked around everyone’s schedules to film videos including typing the content onto teleprompters, doing numerous takes due to street noise, or (most commonly) someone making a mistake during filming. She also edits the content and turns all this around in a short period of time. Sarah takes our office’s ideas to the next level, and we are also amazed by the final product she provided to us. Sarah made reaching the training goal requirements possible.
Sarah, your dedication, commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the students and staff are exceptional. The administration, staff, and students appreciate your personal attributes and outstanding efforts.
