Katie Mishler Named Employee of the Month of June 2022
The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Katie Mishler
as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month
Award for June 2022.
Katie started her career at Cerritos College, as a student ambassador in School Relations. She was hired full-time in 2015 as a program assistant for ATTE and was promoted to deputy sector navigator. She is also an adjunct faculty member in the history department.
Katie has been with the counseling department for the past six months. She arrived
with a positive and joyful attitude ready to jump in and help her colleagues by volunteering
to cover shifts and making innovative suggestions to improve workflow and morale.
Katie is passionate about serving and educating our student population and is very
deserving of this recognition.
Katie was recently promoted to a program facilitator for the Veterans Resources Center,
we look forward to her future accomplishments.
Katie, your dedication, commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the students and staff are exceptional. The administration, staff, and students appreciate your personal attributes and outstanding efforts.
