Welcome Day Celebrates Students' Return to Campus

More than 500 students joined as the College hosted the Welcome Day on August 4. During the first in-person Welcome Day since 2019, students learned about the classes and student support programs and toured the campus facilities while enjoying free food, music, giveaways, and fun games. The fall semester will begin on August 15.

College Opens Stunning New Performing Arts Center

On July 14, Cerritos College celebrated the grand opening of the Performing Arts Center with over 350 community members in attendance. The Performance Arts Center features a 400-seat theater, general-purpose classrooms, a 100-seat lecture and recital hall, a computer lab, and support spaces... The Hollywood Foreign Press Association Awards the Cerritos College Foundation $20K to Advance Diversity in Journalism

The Cerritos College Foundation received a $20,000 grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) to foster diverse voices in the College’s journalism program. Katie Mishler Named Employee of the Month of June 2022

The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Katie Mishler as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month Award for June 2022. Katie started her career at Cerritos College, as a student ambassador in school relations.
