Board of Trustees member Carmen Avalos will conclude her service on the Board of Trustees effective October 14, 2022.  Carmen was first elected to the Cerritos College Board of Trustees in November 2005. Chinese class students

Online Chinese language and culture classes this fall; applications are now open

​A Chinese language and culture course is coming to Cerritos College this fall. Taught by renowned professors from the University of Taipei, the online course is open to adults and youth in grades 3-12 at $109. Participants can virtually attend the University of Taipei, learn the traditional Chinese language, and explore Taiwanese culture through 10 sessions from October 4 to December 6. E-waste collectiond

E-waste collection event coming to Cerritos College on September 24 

The Cerritos College Environmental Club is co-hosting an e-waste collection event on Saturday, September 24 with a student-run nonprofit organization Teens Against E-Waste. Community members are welcome to drop off electronic waste for free. Items accepted include computer monitors, laptops, televisions, printers, speakers, microwaves, DVD players, etc. Email teens.against.ewaste@gmail.com   for more information...
