RSI Recognition Rewards

Welcome to the RSI Recognition Rewards Raffle!
Turn your Regular Substantive Interaction (RSI) practices into rewards. For every example you submit, you earn a raffle entry toward our end-of-semester prize drawing. The more examples you submit, the more entries you earn and the better your chances to win!
What You Need to Earn Entries
To enter the raffle, submit one of the following:
- A link to your completed RSI Self Evaluation Forms
- Screenshots highlighting your best RSI practices, such as announcements, feedback, discussions, emails, rubrics, group work facilitation, etc.
Each unique submission earns one raffle entry toward the end-of-semester prize drawing. You may submit multiple examples, allowing you to earn multiple entries and increase your chances of winning.
How the Raffle Works
- When you submit this form, you will automatically be assigned a random raffle number.
- You may make up to 10 submissions, allowing you to earn up to 10 raffle entries in total.
- Please submit a new form for each example you would like counted as a raffle entry.
- All entries must be received by May 1 at 5:00 PM to be included in the prize drawing.

Earn raffle points by selecting one of these categories and showcasing your best RSI practices:
- Communication with LMS tools, External Apps, Announcements, Email
- Encouraging collaboration in group projects
- Moderating discussion boards for depth and engagement
- Using Canvas Studio to show real world examples or modeling problem-solving
- Collaborative Google Docs or Slides
- Hypothesis
- Padlet
- Pronto
- Responding to student emails
- I check the Simple Syllabus student analytics and reach out to students as needed
- I check their Total Activity & Last Activity and reach out to students as needed
- I check the New Analytics tool in Canvas and reach out as needed
- Offer tutoring, mentoring, or extra office hours
- Referring students to campus resources (Counseling, Tutoring, etc)
- Creating workshops or review sessions
- Create a Communication Plan that includes:
- Frequency and Timing of Communication: When and how often you will reach out to students.
- Student Communication Methods and Response Time: How students can contact you and how quickly they can expect a response.
- Class Participation Expectations: Guidelines for engagement in assignments, discussions, and other activities.
- Grading and Feedback: Overview of how feedback will be provided and typical turnaround times.
- Office Hours: Your scheduled hours for student support and instructions for accessing virtual meetings.
