TEDx Conference Coming to Cerritos College; Speakers Wanted

WHAT: TEDx, a local version of the popular TED Talks conference, is coming to Cerritos College on March 9, 2017. TEDx conferences are independently run and are designed to share ideas from every discipline and culture to seek a deeper understanding of the world through local TED-like experiences.

TEDx at Cerritos College is currently looking for speakers with “ideas worth sharing.” Have something inspiring and interesting to share with the local community? Submit an online application by November 1, 2016. Up to 10 speakers will be elected. Speakers will be notified on February 1, 2017.

TED Talks began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Many of the TED talks are available at TED.com.
