Senate Committee for Academic Affairs

Purpose

  • Assist Faculty Senate on issues of academic affairs when Senate delegates to
    committee for research, dialogue, recommendations, or resolutions 
  • Identifies standards for student success 
  • Identifies and rewards academic excellence among students
  • Coordinates the Academic Excellence Awards program
  • Monitors trends and practices on issues within the committee’s scope and communicates them to the college

Meeting Information

The Academic Excellence Committee meets from 11am - 12pm on the 3rd Tuesday of the month during the fall and spring semesters. Currently, committee meetings are held via Zoom.
